Cottonwood
A space for healing, for gathering and doing good work.
Cottonwood is a family farm in the Comox Valley of Vancouver Island.
We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, including Sathloot, Sasitla, Leeksun, Puntledge, Cha’chae, and Tat’poos Peoples.
The Land
50 acres of forrest and field, enjoy walks along forrest trails, journey into neighbouring park land or kick back in the hammock glade.
The Barn
A retired sheep barn converted into a warm and inviting gathering space with a semi commercial kitchen, dish-pit, wood stove and seating for up to 24 guests. The barn also has a single bedroom, as well as 4 pull out single beds.
The Dome
A 36 foot diameter geodesic dome with heated concrete floors in the middle of the forrest.There is a nearby meadow for camping or the dome can also double as sleeping quarters.
Adjacent are 2 washrooms, a storage room as well as 2 shipping containers converted into a common area or gathering space (semi-completed)
